Civil Society Coalition on Human Rights and Constitutional Law 
The Coalition was established to oppose the AHB when it was tabled in October 2009. 
Membership: 51 Ugandan civil society organisations, including human rights, feminist, HIV focused, LGBTI, media and refugee organisations and groups. The website contains statements in response to passage of the bill, and background information.

Refugee Law Project: Gender and Sexuality Programme
A centre for justice and forced migrants, School of Law, Makerere University, Kampala. The Gender and Sexuality Programme works to ensure that all people access, recover and enjoy their sexual and gender being and rights, and to raise global awareness of the close relationship between violations of sexuality and gender, and patterns of forced migration.

A digital media project that collects the stories of, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Africans from the African Continent and the Diaspora. None on Record adds to the growing histories told by LGBT Africans all over the world.  

South Africa 

Human Rights Watch: Media Release about Video on Gender Violence
Human Rights Watch released a short folm that explores the work of the award-winning South African photographer and activist Zanele Muholi to mark the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence. The campaign began on November 25, 2013.  

India

Orinam: Section 377
This website is a clearing house of updates, history, and analysis of the struggle against Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, a colonial-era criminal law which serves to criminalize homosexuality. On December 10, 2013, the Indian Supreme Court upheld Section 377. They overturned the historic "Naz" decision of the Delhi High Court, which had struck down Section 377 in 2009.

CREA: Sexuality, Gender, and Rights Institute
CREA's Sexuality, Gender, and Rights Institute is an annual residential course, begun in 2007, which focuses on a conceptual study of sexuality and its application to program interventions. The Institute examines the links between sexuality, rights, gender, and health, and their interface with socio-cultural and legal issues. Participants critically analyze policy, research, and program interventions using a rights-based approach.
